SEO & Schema
Colorado First Plumbing
How a hand-coded Vite + React site ranked #1 for 50+ Denver metro price queries — built on radical price transparency, structured data, and local authority.

What we achieved
Over a four-month build, colorado-plumbing.com became the dominant answer for price-intent plumbing searches across the Denver metro — queries like water heater cost, sewer scope pricing, and spot repair estimates in specific cities.
The site shipped 40+ pages: a pricing hub, twelve service pricing routes, nine city landing pages, team and trust pages, and a technical layer designed for both traditional search and modern AI-assisted discovery.
- ✓#1 rankings for 50+ “how much” and price-related queries
- ✓FAQ and rich-result eligibility across city and pricing pages
- ✓4.8-star aggregate rating surfaced across 747+ reviews
- ✓Organic lead flow without paid lead-aggregator dependency
How we approached it
High-level look at the SEO and schema system — the full playbook stays in-house, but the principles are what made the rankings possible.
Price transparency as the foundation
Most Denver metro plumbers hide behind “call for a free estimate.” Colorado First Plumbing published exact flat-rate prices online — water heaters, sewer scopes, spot repairs, replacements. When people search “how much is…,” the site could actually answer the question. That business decision became the SEO engine.
Structured data across the site
Dozens of pages carry JSON-LD markup — local business, FAQs, breadcrumbs, ratings, products with real offers, video objects, and organization data. Schemas are injected at runtime and baked into static HTML at build time so crawlers see complete structured data even without running JavaScript.
Local architecture
Nine dedicated city pages (Denver, Littleton, Lakewood, Highlands Ranch, Arvada, Castle Rock, Thornton, Centennial, Longmont) with thick, city-specific content — neighborhood context, local FAQs, trust signals, and geo-targeted markup. Not thin doorway pages; each hub is 2,000+ words of real local plumbing content.
Pricing pages for “how much” intent
Twelve service pricing pages target specific cost queries — water heaters, tankless, sewer repair, hydro jetting, diagnostics, and more. Each page leads with the answer people typed into Google: exact tiers, what’s included, and what competitors leave vague.
FAQ content that matches the SERP
Every major page carries detailed FAQ sections — city + service + price questions with substantive answers. Visible on-page copy mirrors FAQ schema so Google and AI assistants can extract real answers, not boilerplate.
Trust & E-E-A-T
Master Plumber credentials, 18,000+ jobs, 747+ reviews across multiple platforms, BBB accreditation, team bios, and real project proof. Authority signals are woven into content and schema — experience, expertise, and transparency over keyword stuffing.
Technical SEO layer
Tiered sitemap for 40+ URLs, clean URL structure, 301 redirects for legacy paths, static prerender per route, performance-focused Vite builds, and analytics tied to phone calls, forms, and pricing-page research intent.
